Charter fishing season in Gloucester is finally upon us. The Connemara Bay was launched this past week and we are excited to get back out fishing. Deep sea fishing for haddock opens may 1st and the striped bass should be migrating into our water shortly after. While the boat was on the dry dock over the winter months we took the time to make a few minor upgrades. With the help of Rose’s Marine fabrication in Gloucester, we replaced the original fiberglass rudder with steel. Additionally, we added an R.E. Thomas dripless stuffing box to keep the bilge completely dry.
